Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Testing & Consultation

Sona Signature offers two testing options thorugh our testing company, ZRT Laboratory. The Foundations test is for individuals who have never done Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) before. The Monitoring Test is for those who are already on HRT and would like the team at Sona Signature to help navigate their care.

• Foundations Test: A saliva test for those new to hormone replacement therapy

A Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) consultation is a personalized session with a pharmacist expert to discuss and assess your specific hormone needs.

In order to tailor the consultation to you and your unique health needs, your purchase includes an at-home testing kit that will be sent to you immediately following your purchase. Once you receive your test kit, simply follow the instructions to complete your at-home test before sending it back to the laboratory facility with their pre-paid packaging.

It will take up to 3 weeks for us to receive your results. As soon as we receive them, we will reach out to you to book your consultation!

During the consultation, we will review your medical history, symptoms, and goals to determine the most appropriate HRT options for you. We will also explain the benefits, potential risks, and treatment plans, ensuring that you feel informed and supported throughout the process. This time may also be used for sampling base options and building a formula alongside a compounding pharmacist. 

Both tests are saliva tests that individuals are able to complete in the comfort of their own home. The testing kit will arrive with instructions of when and how to appropriately use the test for your unique testing needs.

You will get 45 minutes of uninterrupted time with our Compounding Pharmacist to discuss your testing results, current symptoms, goals, and the ideal plan of action moving forward. From there, we will partner with you to work with your provider for a long-term course of treatment.

• Complete your testing at home at your own convenience
• Mail the sample directly to ZRT Labs via their pre-paid packaging
• Receive an email from Sona Signature when it's time to book your consultation (up to 3 weeks from the time the sample is received at the lab)
• Meet in person or virtually with a pharmacist to discuss your results and your best plan of treatment
• Partner together with your provider to create your unique HRT treatment plan
