Frequently Asked Questions
What is it?
A Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) consultation is a personalized appointment with a pharmacist expert to explore the potential benefits of LDN as a functional medicine approach in managing various conditions.
During the consultation, we focus on you: your medical history, your symptoms, and your unique treatment goals to determine if LDN is a suitable option for you. We'll cover all the important information, like how the medication works, potential side effects, and we'll work together to develop a tailored treatment plan to help you achieve optimal results.
How long is my pharmacist consultation?
You will have 30 minutes of uninterrupted time with our Compounding Pharmacist to discuss your symptoms, goals, and a potential dosage plan we can discuss with your provider.
What are the next steps?
- First, book your appointment! You will be prompted to select a date for your consultation (in-person or virtual) and pay for the service.
- At your appointment, we'll come up with a plan that meets your unique health needs and goals.
- Afterwards, your pharmacist will reach out to your provider on your behalf to discuss our recommendation! While we cannot guarantee your provider will provide a prescription, we will partner with you to ensure your provider understands your needs and goals with LDN.
- If your provider chooses to move forward with the recommendation and send a prescription, we will start your treatment plan! We'll schedule a phone call follow-up for 3 months after your initial start to assess progress and recommend any changes, if necessary.
